Trials for next seasons NSW Youth Championship BOYS teams for U12, U13, U14 & U15 age groups will held in late February and March 2023.
Please note under NSJCA eligibility rules, players must have played a minimum of 3 club games with an NSJCA club to be eligible to trial & play for the NSJCA.
All trialist must register using the link HERE.
Trialists are advised to regularly check the NSJCA website as details may change at short notice due to weather and/or other restrictions which may impact the number of participants allowed to attend any one trial.
Trials for NSW Youth Championship GIRLS teams (U13 & U15) will be held later in the year. The exact dates, times and venue will be advised via a separate announcement.
Trials for BOYS U11 & younger will be held in late September/October. The exact dates, times and venue will be advised via a separate announcement on the NSJCA website (www.nsjca.asn.au) at a later date.
A player’s age group is based on their age as at 31 August - as guide:

U13 – Complete 19 February 2023 at 1.45pm at Indoor nets at Mark Taylor Oval Waitara
U12 – Complete 26 February 2023 at 1.45pm at Indoor nets at Mark Taylor Oval Waitara
U14 – Complete 5 March 2023 at 2.00pm at Indoor nets at Mark Taylor Oval Waitara
Week 2 Trial - by Invitation
U13 – Complete 5 March 2023 at 2.15pm at centre wicket at venue Artarmon Reserve
U12 – Complete 12 March 2023 at 2.15pm at centre wicket at venue Artarmon Reserve
U14 – 19 March 2023 at 2.15pm at centre wicket at venue Shore Playing Field, Sailor's Bay Rd, Northbridge
Eligibility -
Only players who have played NSJCA club cricket in the current season (at least 3 games expected) will be eligible to represent the NSJCA in the following season. Any exception will require approval of the NSJCA Representative sub-committee. Exceptions will be granted on changes of circumstances such as house moves and starting boarding school in the NSJCA area.
CNSW also requires that MYC players can only represent the association where they have played the majority of their club cricket in the preceding season. Any player who has not played 3 club games and is granted an exception by the NSJCA will also need to notify CNSW Youth Championship management that they intend to trial with NSJCA by 1 March 2023.
