NSJCA players at the U15 boys National Championships
Date of Event North Shore Junior Cricket Association: Tue Mar 3, 2020 3:30PM
Matt Sidhu was the “Bowler of the Tournament”

The U15 boys National Championships were held in Ballarat, Victoria in February.

North Shore had four boys representing NSW.

     Matt Sidhu (Captain, NSW Green),

     Charlie Anderson (NSW Magenta),

     Trystan Kennedy (NSW Magenta) and

     Luke Callanan (NSW Magenta).

This carnival brings together all states to compete at a national level.  All the North Shore boys did extremely well, but unfortunately, this year, the NSW teams were not able to make the Grand Final which was ultimately won by Victoria Country who defeated Queensland.

Of many highlights, Matt Sidhu (pictured) won the “Bowler of the Tournament” award taking 14 wickets across 6 matches at an average of 14.14. On top of this award, Matt was also selected in the Cricket Australia U15 squad.  This rounds out a great year for Matt who captained the NSJCA U15 Weblin Shield team to victory, as well as being a key part of the Easts Cricket Club side that won this year's U16 AW Green Shield premiership.

Congratulations to all the boys for representing the NSJCA on the national stage.
