This carnival brings together all states to compete at a national level. NSW Metro progressed through the qualification stages undefeated but in the end NSW Metro fell one wicket short in the Championship Final as Queensland survived a late surge of 5/16 before prevailing by a solitary wicket.
All the North Shore girls did extremely well during the tournament. Maxwell and Kumari both figured in the top 10 run scorers and in doing so were positioned 2nd and 3rd respectively on the highest batting averages list across all teams. With the ball Kua was second on the leading wicket taker list for the championships with 12 wickets at an average of 12.92 followed closely by Chun with 10 wickets at an average of 10.3 and the best economy rate for the tournament at 2.72 runs per over.
Congratulations to all the girls for representing the NSJCA on the national stage.
